The National Association of Science Writers (NASW) is again sponsoring several exciting programs for student journalists during the AAAS meeting, being held next in Washington, D.C.
Fellowships
NASW members are invited to apply for journalist travel grants to the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting June 24-29 in Germany. This year’s meeting is dedicated to physiology and medicine.
Congratulations to the 2018 NASW Travel Fellows to the Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting, Feb.15-19 in Austin, Texas. These 11 undergraduate students from around the U.S.
The National Association of Science Writers’ inaugural Diversity Fellowship has been awarded to two fellows — Aneri Pattani, a recent graduate of the journalism program at Northeastern University in Boston, and Marissa Shieh, a student in NYU's Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program.
Congratulations to this year's AAAS Undergraduate Travel Fellows. These undergraduate students, representing a diversity of educational institutions across the U.S.
Two NASW members have been selected for travel fellowships to attend the 64th Meeting of Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany this summer. Congratulations to Claudia Caruana and Elizabeth Landau and special thanks to the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings for funding these fellowships for the seventh year.
