If you use a major credit card to pay the National Association of Science Writers for your ad, it will be posted immediately. The cost is $150 and there are no refunds for purchases made in error.

If you prefer you may request an invoice by selecting "purchase order/fee waiver request" under "payment options" when checking out, then entering a purchase order number in the "order comments" area.

You may also request a fee waiver if your ad is for one-time freelance assignment. An example of a one-time freelance assignment is a single magazine article or press release with no promise of additional work. Short-term contract positions and multiple freelance assignments do not qualify for the fee waiver.

To request a fee waiver, select "purchase order/fee waiver request" under "payment options when checking out, then enter a brief statement of your request in the "order comments" area. If your waiver request is accepted, your job ad will be published. If your request is declined, you will receive a bill for the job ad, at which time you may pay for the job ad if you still wish to have it published.
