How to post home pages using WS-FTP
- If you don't have WS_FTP, acquire it.
- Unzip this program and install it according to the instructions in the readme file.
- Start the program. In the Session Profile window click on "New."
- Enter the following information in the boxes:
- Check the "Save Password" box
- Click the "Save" button to save your new session profile.
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet (using your usual connection procedure). From the WS_FTP Sesson Profile window, click OK to establish an ftp connection. Once the ftp connection is established, you should end up in your directory.
- You can then place pages on your web page by highlighting them in the Local System window and using the arrow key to send them to the Remote System
- When you're done uploading your files, click on the "Close" button to close the connection, and then the "Exit" button to exit WS_FTP. Your pages will be available to the world.
