A California non-profit journalism outlet is accusing a for-profit hospital chain of targeting Medicare patients in its emergency rooms and admitting them to its hospital beds. "The report includes hyperlink sourcing, a raft of related documents and a great explainer on how they assembled the numbers behind the story," the Covering Health blog said about the investigation of Prime Healthcare Services by California Watch.
