National Association of Science Writers
Annual Meeting Workshops
Philadelphia, Penn.
February 11-17, 1998

General Information

Hear the latest news in the science writing profession by attending the fourth annual NASW workshops beginning Wednesday, February 11. The workshops begin one day in advance of the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

The workshops showcase new trends and technologies and provide forums with the country's leading science writers for discussing timely issues. Registration is now closed for the workshops.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGES: Due to President Clinton's 12:30 Friday speech in the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Thursday's NASW workshops have been moved to Rooms 202A and 202B at the Convention Center (next door to the Marriott), and one session in the Friday PIO workshops has been cancelled.

Questions? Comments? Contact NASW workshop organizer Paul Lowenberg, University of Washington News and Information Office.
