NASW and CASW sessions will be taking place at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. A limited number of discount rooms have been secured at the rate of $119.00/night plus tax. Participants are responsible for contacting the Omni directly to make reservations. To secure the discount, you must mention "NASW/CASW Joint Meeting" when calling. This rate expires on September 23, 2005.

Getting to Pittsburgh

Flying

The airport is approximately 18 miles from downtown and takes half an hour in non rush hour conditions. See www.pitairport.com for ground transportation options. Cabs are available for ~$40.00. A shuttle service is ~$20.00 and leaves once per hour. The Pittsburgh Flyer, a small city-run bus, departs every 20 minutes for $2.25. Each of these options leaves from the lower level of the terminal.

Riding

Amtrak has service to Pittsburgh from Washington, Philadelphia, and several other departure points. The station is located in downtown at 1100 Liberty Avenue. See www.amtrak.com for more information.
