Travel Fellowships of up to $1,000 are available to science writers and editors attending Press Week in Bar Harbor, Maine, July 21-28, 2010. Press Week, cohosted by The Johns Hopkins University and The Jackson Laboratory, takes place during the world-renowned Short Course in Medical and Experimental Mammalian Genetics. Press Week gives science writers and journalists from across the nation a chance to hear first-hand from some of the world's leading researchers and clinicians about the latest breakthroughs in the rapidly advancing fields of molecular biology and medical genetics. Preference will be given to new graduates of university-based science writing programs and writers in their first year on the job.
