As a courtesy to an NASW Idea Grant recipient, Double X Science LLC, we would like to notify you of a survey they have designed to gain an understanding of the attitudes, experiences, and the role of gender for all science writers. Your participation is completely optional, and NASW will not receive any information about the respondents or results of the survey beyond the results that will be shared publicly by Double X Science LLC.
The survey is sponsored by Double X Science LLC, a consortium of science writers spearheading the 'Women in Science Writing: Solutions Summit’ conference taking place on June 14 and 15, in Cambridge, MA. Trends and analysis of the survey data will be presented at this conference. The event has been made possible by a National Association of Science Writers (NASW) Idea Grant.
The survey should take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete. It is anonymous (the respondent's IP address will not be stored in the survey results). Participants are covered by the privacy policy of the survey platform, Survey Monkey. The data gathered through the course of the survey will be used primarily to characterize trends within a collective experience.
