Epstein is professor emeritus of environmental and occupational medicine at the School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago, and chairman of the non-profit Cancer Prevention Coalition. He provides a comprehensive, documented scientific analysis of the wide range of toxic ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products which he maintains continues to be ignored by the Food & Drug Administration.
