Welcome to Scienceworks! I am John Ludwigson, a science writer, editor, and publisher since 1963.
As Scienceworkss, I offer you a lifetime of experience at making words do what you want them to — including writing, reporting, and editing for major newspapers (A little souvenir of one such job is here...a bit of rag-tag newspaper poetry!), trade and popular magazines, and commercial newsletters, as well as consulting for a major national research organization.
For many years, I specialized in ocean-related sciences and technology; I was also a founder and associate publisher and editor of Ocean World magazine. If necessary, Scienceworks can draw on a much larger pool of experienced science writers such as the other members of the National Association of Science Writers, an organization of which I am proud to have been a member since 1968.
If you'd like to discuss what we can do together, send email describing your project and how you think Scienceworks might be able to help to: John Ludwigson. My home port is near Annapolis, Maryland, U.S.A., convenient to Washington, D. C. and Baltimore. Alternatively, you can find me on Facebook, or on Twitter as "Oldbot".
The possibilities are endless! For some further thoughts on what can be done, and some good examples of my work, a web site I created and maintain, and some some other sites I admire, read on at the Scienceworks: The Possibilities page.
And for you word lovers (no, not the word processor program!), try this free dictionary widget from the folks at Ultralingua...
