John D. Ruley

Is a mid-career graduate student via distance education, studying for a Master of Science through the University of North Dakota Space Studies program. He is also a freelance writer / editor specializing in computers and aviation. He is currently a contributing editor for Pilot Journal, and Plane and Pilot Magazines, a columnist for Piper Flyer and Cessna Flyer, and an occasional contributor to The Scientist. He is also a Principal Investigator for Foresight Science & Technology, where he provides commercialization assistance on small business innovation research (SBIR) contracts. John lives in Modesto, California, with his wife (Kathryn J. Bolton, M.D.) and two cats.
