I've been publishing in local and regional newspapers and magazines since 1985. I do some straight news reporting but prefer feature writing and columns. Can do photography when needed and have done some videotaping and video scriptwriting. I have written on a number of topics besides science research, such as state legislative issues (Florida), health care, and agriculture. I've also done some occasional editing jobs for state agencies as well as Florida State University.

In 1996, I wrote a column called "Sci-Tech Interactive" for Tallahassee Magazine, which covered science research at Florida State University and Florida A&M University, as well as technology news and issues affecting the Tallahassee area.

Over the past few years, I've been writing for FSU Research in Review published by Florida State University's Office of Research. Following are links to online clips from that magazine:
