I'm a writer of both fiction and nonfiction, but almost all of my work concerns some aspect of science. Contrary to popular belief, science is comprehensible and interesting and relevant -- if only you look at it the right way. It's changed us and our society in a huge number of ways (sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse). No doubt it will continue to do so in the future, and science fiction is a great avenue for exploring what might happen. Kyle Kirkland |
