A science writer in Colorado, Sibylle Hechtel has written for
New Scientist, Red Herring, HMS Beagle, Reuters Health,
and consumer magazines like And Baby and The Herb Companion, as well as
newspapers, websites, and chapters in several books.
She also writes educational tutorials, both online and for CD-ROMS,
for academic textbooks. She holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of
California, Irvine and attended Reed College as an undergraduate.
