Affirming spirituality or blurring the line?

The Templeton Foundation awarded its $1.6 million prize Wednesday to British astrophysicist Sir Martin Rees and the critics soon reacted. The prize goes to "a living person who has made exceptional contributions to affirming life’s spiritual dimension," but one skeptic said it aims "to give credibility to religion by blurring its well-demarcated border with science."
