Bonnie Gordon, formerly editor of Sea Frontiers, has been named editor of Astronomy Magazine, a monthly magazine on both the science and hobby of astronomy, with a circulation of 156,000. It is published by Kalmbach Publishing Company, based in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Gordon's previous positions included health director of Self, executive editor of Health, senior editor of Science 80-86, and assistant editor of Smithsonian.
