National Director of Scicomm Courses Updated and Ready


An updated edition of a national directory of university science communication courses and programs is now available from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Courses and programs from more than 40 colleges and universities are described in the third edition of the Directory of Science Communication Courses and Programs in the United States. Compiled by Sharon Dunwoody, Elizabeth Crane and Bonnie Brown of the UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the directory provides descriptions of course content, information about undergraduate and graduate program requirements, and names and addresses of relevant faculty. It is current as of 1996.

The directory is available in either hard copy or on disk. Each costs $10. When ordering a disk version, please specify either Macintosh or MS-DOS format. The directory is provided in ASCII, as well as in word processing formats, on each disk. Only prepaid orders are accepted.
