Dues Renewal

Deadlines for dues renewal was March 15. However, if you hurry you may still be able to have your name included in the 2001 membership directory. Renewals can be made by mail or paid online at nasw.org/NASW/renewals.htm.

Awards

Deadline for entries in the NASW Science-in-Society Award is July 1. See nasw.org/society.htm for more information. Deadline for nominations for the CASW Victor Cohn Medical Science Writing Award is July 31. See www.casw.org/cohn.htm for more information.

Steve Tally has established a section of the nasw.org web site (nasw.org/mem-maint/awards/) for winners of the Science-in-Society Awards. The section includes, in some cases, links to the full text of the award-winning works. The winning entries for 2000 were also published in a booklet distributed at the award ceremony at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Diane has a limited number of these booklets left that she's willing to mail out for $2, postage prepaid.

Workshop Tapes

Tapes of the 2001 NASW workshops in Berkeley are available. The list of workshops is available at nasw.org/users/ccmorton/nasw01.html and the cost is $10 per session, prepaid.
A limited number of copies of workshop tapes for 1998 and 1999 are on sale for $5 each.
