Recognizes investigative and interpretive reporting and writing about the sciences and their impact for good or bad. NASW especially encourages critical, probing articles that would not receive an award from an interest group. Prizes in three categories -- newspaper, magazines, and television and radio, are funded entirely by the NASW membership.
