You should have received your 2000 NASW Membership Roster by now. If your name is missing from the directory that means your dues arrived too late to be included.
The annual CASW New Horizons in Science Briefing takes place Oct. 29-Nov. 2 in Houston at Rice University, which is this year's Host Institution. Watch the mail for program and registration information. A highlight of this year's meeting will be the presentation of the first Victor Cohn Science/Medical Writing Award on Oct. 30, 2000.
There's still time to declare yourself as a candidate for an NASW board position by submitting a petition with the signatures of 20 NASW members. The deadline for receipt by the NASW Office of signed petitions is Oct. 1, 2000.
