CASW SELECTS FOUR 1996 TAYLOR/BLAKESLEE FELLOWS


Four recipients of the Rennie Taylor/Alton Blakeslee Science Writing Graduate Program Fellowships (formerly the Nate Haseltine Fellowships) have been named by the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing. Funded entirely by CASW, they are awarded to journalists and journalism students to enable them to go to a graduate school of their choice.

The recipients and the graduate schools are as follows: Sarah Ann Gilbert, University of Colorado, Journalism; Arik A. Hesseldahl, Idaho State Journal reporter, to Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism; Altoria Bell Ross, currently with the National Academy of Sciences, to Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore; and Anita Srikameswaran, a AAAS mass-media fellow, to Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern.
