Dues Renewal
Deadlines for dues renewal is March 15 or your name won't
be included in the 2001 membership directory. Renewals can be
made by mail or paid online (nasw.org/NASW/renewals.htm).
Award Deadlines
Watch the mail for the Science-in-Society and Victor Cohn
Medical Science Writing Award entry forms. The brochures and
entry forms will be arriving sometime in March/April.
Workshop Tapes
Tapes from the 2001 NASW workshops can be ordered from the
NASW Web site (nasw.org).
Insurance and Car Rental Discounts
A reminder that group insurance plans and discounts from major
car-rental agencies are available to NASW members. Visit the
NASW Web site for more information on these membership benefits.
Authors Registry
Free to NASW members is registration with the Authors Registry,
a nonprofit organization formed to help expedite the flow of
royalty payments and small re-use fees to authors, particularly
for new-media uses. To take register, fill out the form at www.authorsregistry.org.
Where it asks "method of payment" indicate "NASW."
