Announcing NASW “spring break” hours for 2024

NASW’s small and mighty staff has much work ahead in 2024 — preparing for our ScienceWriters2024 national conference, while meeting the continuing and increasing challenges facing our field.

One way we are preparing for the work ahead is with an extra bit of rest. The NASW Board has offered NASW executive director Tinsley Davis a two-month executive sabbatical during March and April, a gesture of appreciation for her endless dedication and commitment to our community since her tenure began in 2008.

Our wonderful assistant executive director, Ben Young Landis, will be supporting the association’s daily activities while observing “spring break” hours for these two months — so we can all be refreshed to support you in the year ahead.

NASW Spring Break Hours: Feb. 26 - April 30, 2024

  • NASW offices will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • NASW committee leaders will have access to drop-in office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (Visit the Committee Leadership Portal for details)

If you have any questions, please contact me at president@nasw.org or Ben Young Landis at aed@nasw.org.
