Subscribing to an NASW email discussion list

To subscribe to a public NASW list, use the links below:

Once subscribed, you can post a message to the list by addressing it in the format listname@nasw.org. For example, using the address NASW-talk@nasw.org would send your message to the NASW-talk list. (Please review the list policies before posting.)

New subscribers to all NASW discussion lists are initially set to "moderated" as an anti-spam measure. This means that their first posts will be held for review by the cybrarian before being sent on to the list. In most cases, the review requirement will be lifted after the first message is approved.

You can manage your subscription or unsubscribe at the Mailman list management page. Just click on the name of any list and follow the instructions on the resulting page.

Two other lists are available to NASW members only.

• NASW-announce is for official NASW announcements. All NASW members are subscribed to this list when they join, using the address they supply with their application. To change that address, use the membership directory..
• NASW-jobs is for help-wanted advertisements, including freelancing opportunities. NASW members may subscribe by filling out this form. They will be sent email requesting confirmation. NASW-jobs posts are archived in the NASW members web site.
