Email services for nasw.org, including member aliases, are temporarily out of service because of a failed system upgrade. We are working with our internet provider to restore service and expect that most incoming email will be delivered soon after that.
UPDATE March 26 6:07 a.m. PDT: Our internet provider and software vendor report some progress but email to aliases is still not restored. At this time, incoming mail is being deferred with a response, "SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:: 451 Temporary local problem - please try later." Properly configured email servers should continue retrying for at least four days before giving up.
UPDATE March 26 8:09 a.m. PDT: All email aliases appear to be working now. In most cases, delayed mail should be delivered within the next few hours, depending on the configuration of the sender's mail server. Thank you for your patience.
