Handouts from today's session: Microsoft Word Hacks for Science Writers - Suzy Bills (1.2 MB)

This NASW Freelance Committee virtual meetup for September 2023 will focus on some skills and tools relevant to any science writer: shortcuts and tips to maximize your use of Microsoft Word. To speak on the topic, your NASW member colleagues and volunteer event hosts Jennifer Huber and Ellen Kuwana have invited writer, editor, and Brigham Young University faculty member Suzy Bills.

Invited Speaker:

Speaker Provided Bio: "Suzy Bills is an editor, an author, and a faculty member in the editing and publishing program at Brigham Young University. She’s owned a writing and editing business since 2006, working with clients to publish everything from books to dissertations to technical manuals. She loves sharing her skills with others, whether through teaching, providing freelancers with business coaching, helping authors get their thoughts on paper, or fine-tuning their writing. Her second book, The Freelance Editor’s Handbook, was published in 2021."

Stick around after the guest talk for some virtual networking with fellow NASW colleagues. See you on Sept. 7!
