Save the date for the 2023 NASW Virtual Internship Fair, presented by the NASW Education Committee. Traditionally held to coincide with the AAAS Annual Meeting, this year's NASW Internship Fair will be held ahead of the conference, in order to align with the summer recruitment calendars of most media employers.
Prospective Employers: Interested in having a representative at our Internship Fair? Sign up as an interviewer by contacting NASW Internship Fair coordinator Berly McCoy at kimberly.mccoy@westernalum.org. Both news organizations (e.g. newspapers, radio/broadcast news, magazines, digital-only outlets) and institutional communications offices (e.g. universities, agencies, National Laboratories) are invited to table and interview.
Prospective Student Participants: Event time, signup form, and additional instructions to be announced. NASW Internship Fairs are open to current NASW Student Members. To be eligible in time for signups, apply to become a NASW Student Member at www.nasw.org/join — membership open to any student 18 years of age and older who are currently enrolled in a degree-granting program (community college, undergraduate, or graduate).
