Speaker Jonathan Gray of the Freelancers Union will explain the different types of business insurance, their pros and cons, how to find insurance providers, and other practical tips. And we’ll allow plenty of time for him to answer your questions.

Join us in Oregon for ScienceWriters2026

ScienceWriters is the largest U.S. convening for journalists, authors, editors, producers, institutional communicators, students, and people who write and produce material intended to inform the public about science, health, engineering, and technology. In addition to a weekend of in-person events Sept. 25-28 in Corvallis, NASW will also host a virtual-only component Oct. 14-16.
