The NASW Freelance Committee virtual meetup on August 6 will be a skills chat focused on GenAI (e.g., Claude, Gemini). Speaker Ellen Kuwana will share her perspectives on what to consider when it comes to professional reputations and use of GenAI. She will also present ethical and environmental concerns that might affect how (and how often) you decide to use it. Then we will have lots of time for discussion: How are NASW members using AI, what disclosures and policies do you or your clients have in place, what pitfalls and successes have you experienced? Questions are welcome to crowdsource wisdom from others!
