Excellence in Instutitional Writing Award entries open now

Entries for the 2020 Excellence in Institutional Writing Awards are open. The NASW Excellence in Institutional Writing Awards were established to recognize high-caliber publicly accessible science writing produced on behalf of an institution or other non-media organization.

Entries for the competition, for material published or broadcast in 2019, are due February 1, 2020. Online entries are open at www.nasw.org/excellence.

With cash prizes, no entry fees for members, and submissions open to members and non-members alike, we hope that you enter your best work from the year and encourage your colleagues to enter, too. Entries close Feb. 1, 2020.

New this year: Inspired by our colleagues at the Society for Environmental Journalism and in an effort to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field, there is no submission fee for members of the following journalism organizations:
