The Chicago Science Writers invite NASW members to attend their upcoming event "The who, what, where, why, and how of off-label prescribing” on Wednesday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Medill School of Journalism Chicago Newsroom. This panel will discuss the legal, ethical, and safety issues around off-label prescribing. You’ll learn what it means, how doctors determine which drugs to use off label, and how pharmaceutical companies view off-label use.
