Congratulations to this year's NASW Travel Fellows. These 10 undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and educational institutions were selected by the NASW Education Committee to attend this year's AAAS annual meeting Feb. 16-20, in Boston. Each fellow will receive up to $1,000 to assist with travel. Fellows will each write a story for publication on the NASW website, and participate in the NASW mentoring program and NASW internship fair.

NASW helped 10 undergraduates majoring in biology, English, physics, journalism, mathematics, neuroscience, and environmental studies by awarding them fellowships to attend the recently concluded annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. As part of their fellowship obligations, the students filed reports on selected AAAS sessions. You can read their reports on our event coverage page.

Two NASW members have been selected for travel fellowships to attend the 65th Meeting of Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany this summer. Congratulations to Katherine Bourzac and Sandeep Ravindran and special thanks to the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings for funding these fellowships.
